Hello Everybody....
Well the heat is on and we are all waiting for October to roll around and maybe we will be done with the 100 degree days.... or maybe Not! Remember this is Texas and the weather changes every hour ...it seems.

Please take care of your animals in this Hot..Hot Weather! Don't leave your older doggies out all day, even if they have plenty of water the water gets hot and they many times will not drink it. We run around everyday in this kind od weather putting ice in doggie water bowls, but it doesn't long in 100 degree plus heat!!!!!

Remember also to give your animals fish oil capsules to help keep their skin and coat moisturized. and when they go swimming in the pool, rinse the chlorine out of their coat with fresh water from the hose. Pool chemicals can dry a dogs coat and sometimes cause their skin to get dry and itch.....and you might think your furry one had fleas when it is really dry skin!!!!

We love our furry "kids" so be extra kind to them during the Hot Days of Summer, by taking extra care and time to be aware of their health and well-being. Many doggies suffer from allergies just like we do and 'dang it' be careful of those chemicals you use on the lawn...they can be harmful to our pets and us humans, also!!!!!! I have seen too many dogs have digestive issues after eating grass this summer??!!
